Perhaps the best part of being a member of the Sioux Falls Area Running Club is the comraderie that comes with being part of group run!

This is a perfect way to meet new like minded people and make lifelong friends. We have a long standing group run at Good Earth State Park with the details below. We try and have other group runs at least once a month at various locations around Sioux Falls as well.

Other groups such as Sioux Falls Women Run and 605 Running Company also have group runs. Please look them up to see what they currently have to offer.

If you’re interested in leading a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group run, let us know and we’d love to team up with you to make it happen!

Good Earth Trail Run

Thursdays at 6:00pm at Good Earth State Park - Spring through mid-November

Cancellation Policy

The Sioux Fall Area Run Club hosts group runs weekly April through

October and offers “pop-up” runs and events year-round. Group runs,

“pop-up” runs, and other club events may be cancelled if there is inclement

weather. When the temperature is below zero (0) degrees or above ninety-

five (95) degrees, if lightning is spotted in the area or we are in a severe

storm warning, we will cancel the group run, pop-up run and/or event. We

reserve the right to cancel a group run, pop-up run, or event based on

current weather conditions. When an event is canceled, we will post it to

social media.

Due to the potentially, adverse effects of running/walking on wet or moist

single-track, dirt & prairie trails, (such as those we utilize during our group

runs at Good Earth State Park and those, we race on during our Trail Run

series including: Tuthill, Great Bear, Newton Hills and others) we will

attempt to refrain from using these types of trail systems at all locations

(previously named or otherwise) when it is raining or when conditions are

muddy or moist. Trail preservation is important to the trail-running

community and the Sioux Fall Area Run Club reserves the right to alter

running routes, change locations of runs, and/or cancel runs and events

based on current trail conditions.
